Skoda EGR valves. In March 2014 at 36,000 miles the EGR valve failed on my Skoda Superb and was repaired under warranty. In May 2015, the EGR valve has failed again at 67,000 miles. Is there a problem with these EGR valves and what is the life expectancy of these parts. My average mileage is on motorways.

After about 4 months, the engine warning light came on for the first time, indicating the EGR valve was stuck open again.
